Hosted during Art Basel in Basel, Bronx Bodega Basel was a vibrant culinary cultural event hosted by Ghetto Gastro & Villa Nomad. Chefs Elif and Marküs from Zurich showcased an innovative fusion of Swiss and Bronx culinary heritage, alongside an extensive lineup of performances and vendors.

Gab Bois was commissioned to design and conceptualize the event space with art installations and visual elements inspired by the iconic NYC bodega. The series of installations featured functional art pieces, including textile replicas of the iconic Thank You bags used as lampshades, oversized citrus fruit sculptures created through repetition, and used for the event's juicing for brunch, and a full row of functional habanero pepper chandeliers that illuminated the event bar.
